Earthion is a brand-new space-themed action shooter developed by Ancient, led by game music legend Yuzo Koshiro. Set in a future where Earth’s resources are nearly depleted and humanity has moved to Mars, Earthion follows the mission of the Earth Defense Organization "Arsion" returning from Mars to liberate Earth from invading alien warships.

The gameplay features fast-paced, arcade-style combat across eight uniquely themed stages, each offering environmental challenges and boss battles. Players can customize visual presentation with CRT scanline filters for nostalgic flair, choose from multiple difficulty levels, and test their skills in dedicated challenge modes.

A standout feature is the integrated music player, showcasing 27 original tracks and sound effects newly created by Koshiro himself. A password/resume system ensures players can pick up where they left off without hassle. The retail package also includes a demo version that was previously playable at events.
