In F-Zero X, players take on the role of a racer in the F-Zero Grand Prix, a high-speed racing tournament featuring anti-gravity vehicles called "F-Zero machines." The game features a variety of modes, including Grand Prix, Time Attack, and Death Race, where players must not only race to the finish line but also battle with opponents to be the last racer standing.
