The 3rd generation C10 skyline introduced in 1968, has been established a strong and gentle image that is unique to Skyline due to the use of the GT-R advertising campaign and the circuit that started the next year.
Following from the previous S54 series, the 2000GT has changed the engine to the Nissan L20 model and has evolved into a more subdued GT car.
In 1971, the 2000 GT-X equipped with the same twin cab engine as the Fairlady Z, which has been extremely popular.
The fame remains still unaffected by the popular Hakoska car model and has become a popular car model worldwide.

New specifications for the GT series. The phrase "Faithful 4-Door" reproduces the GT-X 4-Door Sedan, which was added in the spring of 1972.
